1. Accessing the Conversations Tab
Navigate to the Contacts section from the main left-hand menu.
Click on the name of the contact whose communication history you want to view.
In the contact detail view, click on the Conversations tab.
2. Understanding the Unified View
The Conversations tab displays both Email and SMS messages sent to and received from this specific contact.
Messages are displayed in reverse chronological order, with the most recent interactions appearing at the top.
You can easily distinguish between Emails and SMS messages by the icon and description.
Indicators show whether a message was Sent to the contact or Received from the contact.
Unread messages might appear differently (e.g., bolded) until you view them. Viewing an unread message marks it as read.
3. Viewing Message Details
Click on any message thread (Email or SMS) in the list to expand it and view its content.
For emails, the expanded view shows:
From, To, and CC addresses.
Subject line.
Body content.
Any Attachments included in the email.
4. Sending New Messages
To initiate a new message to the contact:
Click the Email button to compose a new email.
Click the SMS button to compose a new SMS message.
(Note: Composing new messages is initiated here, but the detailed composition process isn't fully shown in this clip).
5. Replying to Emails
Expand the email thread you wish to reply to.
Click the Reply (or Reply All) icon within the expanded email view. A composer window will open.
(Optional) Add recipients to the Cc or Bcc fields if needed.
Type your reply message in the body editor.
(Optional) Select an existing email template from the dropdown if desired.
Click the Send button
Your sent reply will appear at the top of the Conversations feed.
6. Deleting Messages
Individual message threads (sent or received) often have a Delete option (usually a trash can icon) allowing you to remove them from the conversation history.
The Conversations tab acts as a dedicated inbox for each contact, keeping all direct communication history organized and easily accessible in one place.
